SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
All fields of the submission form must be filled out.
All submissions must be relevant to the FFA, FFA members, and FFA events.
Submissions should be between 100 and 1000 words. As an example, the FFA Creed (at left) is about 300 words.
Only active FFA members and advisors may submit stories/articles.
You may submit a maximum of five (5) stories/articles to be considered for each quarterly issue.
Stories/articles in violation of these requirements will not be considered for inclusion in Section 8 Quarterly.
TOP THREE WRITING TIPS
1. Keep it concise! Readers may lose interest if your article drags on or focuses too much on unimportant details.
2. Double-check for errors. Often, minor mistakes in spelling, punctuation, and grammar can make the difference in whether an article seems professional or amateurish.Â
3. Make readers care about your topic. Introduce them to a person or a cause they should care about!
